Today me and George went to film our initial shots for our music video. We managed to film everything we needed for our day shots and we are quite please with the amount we got. This will allow me to draw up and idea of how I am going to edit the video. George and I have to go back to all 3 locations and film again at night so we can have the desired half and half visuals of day and night to go with the song.
Below are a couple of images at location.

Actor Problems
Dan Lisle was our main actor and after having a talk with him, we realised that it would be hard for us to all be available at the locations to film. We decided it would be best to do it without him and so George took the role as main actor which in all honestly is much better because he knows the lyrics to the song and has a general idea of what we want the music video to look like.

Location #3 - Footbridge over M4
Me and George feel that this location is quite unique and will fit perfectly with our genre and the style of our music video. The location is quite remote meaning we will be free to film whatever we want with no interruptions. Being so isolated we have to be careful and safe when we are filming at night.
The footbridge is over a motorway which is very dangerous so we have to be very careful when filming and remain safe at all times. Knowing all this we feel that this location is ideal for us.Location #2 - Walkway
This location is ideal as the area fits with the genre of the music, it has a lot of space, and is symmetrical allowing us to use this location for the base idea of our digi-pack. The lights that turn on at night give a great effect which will look good on the digi-pack as well. The location overall is very successful.
Location #1 - Car Park Roof
This is the location me and George decided would be the best for our intitial shots as there is a nice view of Windsor, it will be clear which shots are day and night and is easily accessible with a lot of space. At night there is good visibility from the lights in the car park.
Music Video Sequence
Main Concept; Screen spilt into two, top half day and colorful, bottom half night and dark.
Intro; Establishing Shots
Beginning; Rooftop location, balloons on day half, none on the night half.
Chorus; Kinectic Typography over shots.
Middle; Walking down pathway, cuts interchange with singing shots. Maybe slow motion walking.
Chorus; Kinetic Typography over shots.
Middle 2; Bridge over motorway, Slow-motion shots and singing.
Chorus; Kinetic Typography over shots.
The End
